Owner Dave Cox left a career of 14 years in the insurance industry to pursue his passion in Auto Body and Repair. During the time he worked as an insurance representative, he learned the best methods of estimating repair quotes that result in quality work and customer satisfaction. He received additional hands-on training with 2 years of vocational school and 2 years of collision repair training. As an insurance representative, Dave got to see what worked and what didn’t work in other body shops within 150 miles of Duluth. “I have a great understanding of the business in body shop work and of the insurance side of the business,” he says. This gave him a competitive edge when he opened Quality Collision over seven years ago. He understands how to work with the insurance companies to get the proper parts leading to the best quality repair.
